SBU assess relevant and well-conducted research and investigate what effect different interventions have, if there are any risks or ethical problems, and what is most cost-effective in the areas of health care, dentistry, social services, and within the areas of functional disability and work environment.

Background

By Swedish government decision December 19, 2024, SBU has been commissioned to develop a process for ”rapid reviews” to be used in crisis situations.

Aim

SBU will develop a process to rapidly produce and deliver scientific reviews adapted to the receiver for decision making concerning health and health care in crisis situations. In the project SBU shall co-operate with other relevant authorities.
