Nordic and Scandinavian cooperation
Together with Scandinavian sister authorities, Cochrane Sweden, HTA Region Stockholm, and SBU have started a network called the Nordic GRADE network. The Nordic GRADE Network aims to advance the use of GRADE for evidence-informed decision making for policy and practice in the Nordic countries, i.e. Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. The Network builds on the extensive research and training experience of individuals within the Network to coordinate and maximize GRADE training, research and guideline activities in the Nordic countries. SBU is part of the steering group.
Nordic HTA Network
The Nordic HTA Network is a collaboration between NOMA, the Swedish Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Social Services (SBU), the Danish Healthcare Quality Institute (DHQI), the Finnish Coordinating Centre for Health Technology Assessment (FinCCHTA), and the Council for Choices in Health Care in Finland (COHERE Finland).
The Nordic HTA Network has been established to facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among Nordic organizations that conduct HTAs of medical devices, procedures, and other non-pharmaceutical technologies. The purpose is to optimize and streamline this work at the national level and within the Nordic countries.
