Telefonrådgivning och benägenhet att söka vård hos fysisk vårdgivare

Sjukvårdsrådgivning kan ges på distans via telefon av en sjuksköterska och har som mål att ge den vårdsökande hjälp med att bedöma åkomman, ge stöd och ibland egenvårdsråd samt att hänvisa till rätt vårdinstans. Sjukvårdsrådgivning på telefon har även som mål att minska trycket på mottagningarna.

Sammanfattning SBU:s upplysningstjänst

SBU:s upplysningstjänst har efter litteratursökning och kvalitetsgranskning av systematiska översikter inkluderat en artikel som summerar resultaten från flera systematiska översikter i svaret. Författarna till artikeln drog slutsatsen att det inte finns tillräckligt med evidens för några definitiva slutsatser och att det finns flera möjliga interaktionseffekter som kan påverka resultaten. Författarna menar dock att resultaten generellt antyder att patientens tillfredsställelse med telefonrådgivning är hög och att det finns viss evidens för att telefonrådgivning minskar arbetsbelastningen för vårdpersonalen samt att det finns tendenser att det inte finns några större skillnader i säkerhet. Författarnas slutsatser har inte analyserats utifrån svenska förhållanden.

SBU har inte tagit ställning i sakfrågan eftersom vi inte har bedömt risken för systematiska fel i primärstudier och inte heller har vägt samman resultaten eller bedömt graden av vetenskaplig tillförlitlighet. Här redovisar vi därför endast författarnas slutsatser från systematiska översikter som bedöms ha låg eller måttlig risk för systematiska fel.
